Lovatics love Demi Lovato, right? Well, the feeling is mutual!

Thanks to the Kyle and Jackie O Show, an Aussie superfan named Nathan got the chance to meet his idol. This Lovatic thought he was recording a video message about the "Really Don't Care" singer that she would see at a later time, but he was in for the shock of a lifetime when Demi herself appeared out of nowhere!

Let's backtrack a sec, though, Lovatics, to appreciate Nathan's true fandom for Demi! "I am a better person for being a fan of her," he said (pre-surprise) to Kyle and Jackie O. "She has just changed my life for the better. She's all about owning your insecurities, loving yourself and just being who you are."

"I think it kind of comes from the fact I've found a lot of solace in her music when I was growing up and going through a bit of a tough time," he continued. "I feel like we've kind of grown up together—I have grown up with her, as she's been through battles, I've been through battles, and we've both come out the other side. It's all about looking forward to the future."

Nathan was just beginning to gush over seeing Demi live in concert (where "she took me to church, made me a believer and slayed us all," he gushed) when Ms. Lovato herself interrupted! "You're so sweet," she exclaimed. "Thank you!"

Unsurprisingly, this Lovatic lost it. But after a shocked squeal and minor freakout, Nathan realized he was face-to-face with his idol and could say whatever his heart desired. So what'd he go with?  "You are the most—you are so gorgeous!"

Demi, clearly moved by Nathan's genuineness, hugged her superfan warmly. "Demi, you are just—you are one of the strongest people I know," he went on. "I cannot thank you enough for what you've done, just for everyone, for me..."

Are you crying yet, Lovatics?! It's pretty darn sweet. Nathan later Instagrammed a sweet snap of himself and Demi embracing, along with a photo of his autographed copy of her book Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year.
