Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice looks a tad different from what the trailer showed the world last week.

Instead of Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill squaring off against each other in the highly anticipated blockbuster, Christopher Reeve and Adam West take center stage in this parody preview. Reeve, who played the original Superman in 1978, fights against West's goofy Batman character that he played in the 1966 TV series. Batman's sidekick, Robin, also makes a cameo with old footage of Burt Ward included in the spoof.

The actual trailer, however, is much darker than the parody video. Director Zach Snyder's preview begins with a narrator's voice asking, "Is it really surprising that the most powerful man in the world should be a figure of controversy?"

As footage of Superman plays, several opposing commentators' voices overlapped. "We as a population on this planet have been looking for a savior," one person said. But another argued, "Human beings have a horrible track record of following people with great power."

One person said, "Maybe he's just a guy trying to do the right thing."

When the trailer for the film initially leaked and then received an official release early, the Internet reacted with mixed reviews. Some were still baffled by why the two superheroes were fighting, while others seemed to enjoy the sneak peek. But for those who are still vehemently opposed Snyder's casting, then this spoof might be the antidote to your woes.

But Snyder and Affleck both defended the famed director's decision, even though many didn't think the former Daredevil star had what it takes to play the caped crusader. But Affleck is still pumped despite fans going crazy on the Internet because he'll get to show his children he's an actual hero.

"I saw the announcement, I look down the thing and I look at the first comment. The first comment goes, 'Nooooooooooooo.' I'm like, ‘We're going to be Luddites for a while, kids,'" he explained to Jimmy Fallon.

He added, "Every kid should see their dad as a superhero, right? It's so awesome, man," he said. "I'm so excited."
