The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are speaking out on the unfortunate news surrounding their co-star and friend.

E! News confirmed earlier today that Kim Richards was arrested early this morning at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The Beverly Hills Police were called around 1:30 a.m. by security in response to a reported fight, where Richards was described as belligerent with slurred speech and reeking of a strong odor of alcohol.

Those who watch the Bravo reality show are well aware that Kim has been very open about struggling with substance abuse issues in the past, and just recently during the show's reunion, Richards reassured fans that she has been sober for three years.

Therefore, this arrest causes worry for those close to her.

Adrienne Maloof tells E! News, "I think this is a cry for help. Right now Kim needs help," and adds, "She and [sisters] Kyle [Richards] and Kathy [Hilton] are in my prayers and have my full support."

Meanwhile, castmate and new RHOBH member Eileen Davidson, who had a rough interaction with Richards during this last season, took to Twitter to share her well wishes for the reality star. "I feel badly for Kim Richards and her family my thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time."

Fellow newbie Lisa Rinna also took to Twitter, writing, "I was sad to hear about Kim's incident and I wish her and her family the best."

Lisa Vanderpump tweeted, "U can't help somebody  til they want to help themselves,I know for sure that the sisters will always support each other when the time comes."

Kim's BFF Brandi Glanville has not directly addressed the arrest, but did tweet something that may or may not be related to the incident. "Real friends are their in the good times, the bad times &especially the worst times.I am blessed with real friends & am a real friend myself," she wrote.

Furthermore, a source tells E! News Glanville, who has been targeted as a negative influence on Kim by other women on the show (especially Kyle), was not with Richards last night and tells us, "Brandi is very concerned for her friend and has, of course, reached out."

Richards has been charged with public intoxication, trespassing, resisting an officer and battery on a police officer. She is due to appear at the L.A. Superior Court on June 10.
