Blake Lively's hubby didn't quite understand what "fly fishing" meant as a little boy in Canada

It's like Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively became social media darlings overnight!

For Throwback Thursday, baby James' daddy tweeted an adorably mischievous photo from his childhood up in Canada. In the vintage snap, Young Ry has a dead fish in hand and his pants are unzipped. "As I soon understood, fly fishing had nothing to do with pulling a trout out of your pants to surprise your brothers."

Ha! Blake showed off her goofy side online the day before, Instagramming a pic of herself and sister Robyn Lively playfully shoving vegetables into each other's faces. "I can't understand why people don't take me seriously as a chef," she quipped, hashtagging #PleaseDontShowLeCordonBleu  #WhoPutsTrufflesonTheirNipplesDearGodCan'tReportersTakeaJoke #ThatWasTheLongestHashtagEver

The nipples-on-truffles bit was a reference to when she jokingly told reporters (via People), "I rub truffles on my nipples every day...You've got to give her [James] a very well balanced palate from a young age so she doesn't eat only beige food!"

Ha, cute, and clearly a quip, but the Age of Adaline star is still green when it comes to Internet humor (or lack thereof). Fortunately for Blake, though, she's mastered the quirky, self-effacing tone that goes over well online.

Silly selfies? Check. Imperfectly made cookies? Bravo. Ryan Reynolds pics? Always a good thing.

All we need now is for little miss James to make her Insta-debut! Well, that, and to join in on a Blake and Martha Stewart bake-off sometime in Bedford! [Note, Internet: That is not a joke.]
