As fans continue to speculate on Jennifer Lopez's relationship status with Casper Smart, E! News can confirm the "On the Floor" singer joined her twins and the famous dancer for a weekend road trip to Mexico.
A source tells E! News everyone left Los Angeles on Saturday morning for the Easter getaway. Everyone boarded up in Smart's truck that easily towed two wave runners. Perhaps some water sports are on this group's agenda?
The whole gang traveled for several hours before stopping at a San Diego County gas station for snacks and a quick trip to the bathroom. Once they crossed the border, they stopped in a small resort town by Ensenada.
"Casper was very familiar with the area and knew where to go," a source revealed to E! News.
On Easter Sunday, Smart spent the day on his wave runner cruising around with friends in the ocean. Meanwhile, Lopez and her twins Emme and Max stayed back with some friends and played indoors.
While plans remain unknown for how the group will celebrate Smart's 28th birthday Monday, an insider said they are supposed to stay for a few days before heading back to Los Angeles.
"I am single right now, thank you," Lopez told E! News when asked about the romance rumors after a taping of American Idol last week. Smart added at a separate premiere, "We're very close…We're very good friends."
And even with the recent PDA-filled pics and nights out together at the same events, neither of the two is admitting to any more than just a solid friendship.
"Sometimes it's hard to say goodbye for good when your lives are so intertwined," a source previously revealed to E! News. "And they genuinely like one another. But unlikely they will get back together."
