The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum didn't take to it kindly when some "rude ass people" had some nasty things to say about her body in a photo she posted to Instagram Friday. In the days to come, the 36-year-old mother of six got her "haters" back in the best way possible: Posting a bikini mirror selfie showing off her fit, tiny frame!
Kim's post-baby bod looked pretty unbelievable in the picture she Instagrammed Sunday, but it was the pic's envy-inducing, I-don't-really-diet caption that really got people going. "I love food!" she wrote, adding a #DessertEspecially hashtag.
Still, the Bravo star admitted that the negative remarks about her "chunky" thighs did have an impact on her. But on Saturday, she tried to reassure her "sweet followers" that she was taking the body-shaming remarks in stride.
"I read the comments under my post yesterday, and you guys are right there are A LOT of unhappy people in this world BUT being unhappy doesn't mean you try and bring others down," she wrote. "These people fail to realize my children read the comments and as strong as they may be they have feelings too. I know being in the public eye comes with scrutiny but people before your fingers start typing some BS why don't you think WTF you're gaining by doing that!"
"Constructive criticism and difference of opinions is what makes the world go round but down right hurtful comments are not needed. From today on any and ALL haters will be blocked," added Kim. "Don't email my website asking WHY and begging to be unblocked!" (P.S. Who does this?!)
It didn't end there, though... "I LIVE for positivity," Kim wrote, "and remember YOU CANT LIVE A POSITIVE LIFE THINKING NEGATIVE THOUGHTS."
Well, amen to that—this mantra seems to be working well for Kim. She looks like this, is happily married to 29-year-old Atlanta Falcons star Kroy Biermann, and as Bravo announced just last week. she and NeNe Leakes have a show of their own in the works!
The two former RHOA stars are teaming up for NeNe and Kim: The Road to Riches, a series which will follow the pals as they trek across the country in search of adventure.
