Last night's Furious 7 premiere was bittersweet for many.

While Vin Diesel, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese and the rest of the cast were eager for fans to see the latest installment of the extremely popular Fast & Furious franchise, everyone also knew that there was one important member of their family missing from that red carpet.

Although Paul Walker couldn't physically celebrate with his pals, he was there in spirit and remembered by everyone who stepped onto the carpet for the milestone Los Angeles premiere.

"If I'm seeming excited and if I'm seeming amped, it took a lot of work to get there so that I could bury all of my emotions for one night, suppress my emotions for one moment as I introduce this movie to the world, because if I got lost in my emotions, there'd be tears rolling down my cheeks and I just would've stayed in the car and would've gone back home," Diesel, who wasn't afraid to get emotional before, begins to tell E! News.

"It's something that conscious, it's something that—maybe it's post my little angel being born, but there's something about finally celebrating this and allowing yourself to celebrate the legacy that was Paul. The legacy of that angel," he continues.

"When you come to see this movie that's what's so surprising. Everyone's expecting to come to this movie and feel sorrow and to feel really down. The irony is, when you come to this movie, you're going to feel emotional, but it'll be the type of emotional feeling that's uplifting in some strange bizarre way. And I can't thank anybody more than the studio for supporting that and for the Walker brothers to show up and to say that you guys are on the right path. It's a beautiful thing."

Brewster, who watched the final cut with her sister, tells us, "It was really hard, but in some ways I was really happy with the way it turned out and very relieved," and also shared her favorite memory of Walker.

"It's so funny because with Paul I literally have zero bad memories. He was the best guy. But one of my favorite memories was definitely the stunt we did in Fast 5 where he was just the most supportive guy and he was just coaching me through it. He was just the best."

"We all know that we struggled to get through this one and Paul is with us. Paul is here," Tyrese tells E! News on the carpet. "He's at this premiere and the fans are gonna love it. And that's what it's all about and nothing else."
