Warning: Prepare to have a nostalgia-fueled freakout in 3...2...1...

The Blacklist is set to stage the ultimate '80s reunion as James Spader is set to work with his Pretty in Pink, Mannequin and Less Than Zero co-star Andrew McCarthy again, E! News has exclusively learned. Yes, that's right: Steff and Blane (It's a name!) are back together and we're having some major flashback feelings.

While Spader and McCarthy won't appear on-screen together, McCarthy is set to direct three upcoming episodes of the hit NBC drama's second season, with his Blacklist directorial debut, Ruslan Denisov (#67)," airing on Feb. 12.

And we have your exclusive first look at the duo's on-set reunion in the behind-the-scenes photo above. Shh, don't tell Andie (Molly Ringwald)!

"They're both great artists who have had such a wonderful working relationship in the past, it just seemed like too good an opportunity to pass up," series executive producers Jon Bokenkamp and John Eisendrath said in a statement of the reunion.

Aside from his upcoming three-episode stint on The Blacklist, McCarthy has directed episodes of Gossip Girl, Orange Is the New Black and The Carrie Diaries

In addition to directing, McCarthy is also an award-winning travel writer and is an editor-at-large at National Geographic Traveler.

After a mini-hiatus, The Blacklist returned in the coveted post-Super Bowl timeslot, bringing in an impressive 26 million viewers. Shortly after, NBC renewed the drama, which also stars Megan Boone, Diego Klattenhoff and Ryan Eggold, for a third season.

And The Blacklist managed to beat Scandal in its new timeslot debut (Thursday at 9 p.m.) on Feb. 5, attracting 9.9 million viewers and a 2.3 demo rating. There's just no stopping Red Reddington, is there?!

The Blacklist airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on NBC.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
