Kris Jenner never becoming a grandmother? Hard to believe now, but this E! matriarch once worried that she'd never play the role of nana.

The mother of six sat down with Giuliana Rancic for a new segment of Beyond Candid, and aside from discussing Jenner's latest business venture (can someone add cookbook author to her résumé, please), the duo spoke about Kris' growing family.

After saying she is "beyond excited" for daughter Kourtney Kardashian's third pregnancy—Kris' fourth grandchild—the E! star admitted there was a time when she feared she'd never have any grandchildren. "Truth be told, there was a couple years ago where I thought if these kids don't get started, they're not gonna have any kids. I'm not gonna have any grandchildren," Jenner said.

"But they are on fire right now. You can stop, I was just kidding," Kris joked, and then added, "No, no, the more the merrier around here. I think that this is probably such an amazing time in my life and how it feels to be a grandmother, it's like nothing other than I could explain. It's just fabulous."

There were ongoing rumors about Kourt's pregnancy for some time, but the mother of two didn't confirm anything until the premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. During the jam-packed super-tease that aired after the brand-new episode of their hit reality show, Kourtney and Scott Disick are sharing a quiet moment in their expansive walk-in closet when she tells him, simply, "I'm pregnant."

Finally, the world got their answer, and now we just anxiously await another cutie to join siblings 4-year-old Mason, 23-month-old Penelope, and 1-year-old cousin North West.

Make sure to watch E! News weeknights at 7 p.m. & 11:30 p.m., and tune in to Keeping Up With the Kardashians Sunday nights at 9 p.m., only on E!
