The dancer-choreographer gets to keep the gifts J.Lo gave to him throughout their relationship, sources confirm.
Sources also insist that Smart will not receive any sort of cash settlement because of the breakup.
The two have "both given each other nice gifts over the years," one source said, adding that Lopez "has never given" Smart any money.
"Those accusations have always been false and a made-up rumor," the source said.
Among the goodies that Smart received from Lopez is a Dodge Ram truck.
Smart reportedly gave Lopez a necklace decorated with a pink teddy bear during a surprise birthday party he organized for her aboard a yacht moored in New York.
J.Lo and Smart called it quits after three-and-a-half years of dating, E! News confirmed Friday. "They were hoping to be more low-key about things," a source said. "He was slowly going to move out and that would be it."
The duo first met not long after the "I Luh Ya Papi" crooner and her husband Marc Anthony split up in 2011, with Smart soon appearing with J.Lo on the red carpet.
Although sources said J.Lo and Smart's breakup was "a long time coming," the two are still on good terms.
"She will definitely still keep things civil and actually still loves him," an insider told us. "The hard part is the kids love him too. He has become a part of her family."
Smart was spotted over the weekend leaving Lopez's L.A.-area home on a motorcycle while the American Idol judge was across the country promoting her new album in NYC.
