Eddie Redmayne Engaged to Hannah Bagshawe

Betrothed couple have been dating since at least January 2012

Eddie Redmayne is ready for his life with Hannah.

The 32-year-old British actor is engaged to longtime love Hannah Bagshawe, his rep confirmed Monday to E! News.

The cozy couple, who reportedly started dating in January 2012, made their red carpet debut together at the London premiere of Les Misérables that December and have been picking up steam ever since, most recently making for a glamorous pair at the Met Gala. Redmayne wore a Burberry tuxedo with tails for the occasion and just may have nailed the white-tie dress code.

Their engagement was reportedly first announced in the London Times' Saturday print edition, the notice reading: "The engagement is announced between Edward, son of Mr and Mrs Richard Redmayne of London, and Hannah, daughter of Mr Nicholas Bagshawe and Mrs Caryl Bagshawe, both of London."

Before taking on the musical role of Marius in the blockbuster opposite Amanda Seyfried, Redmayne's breakout role came in My Week With Marilyn, which involved a skinny-dipping scene with Michelle Williams, who scored an Oscar nomination for her role as screen siren Marilyn Monroe.

The Eton grad (he was in Prince William's class!) is up next on the big screen in the sci-fi thriller Jupiter Ascending with Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis. 

 

Redmayne and Bagshawe were spotted out on a double date in NYC last month with Kate Mara and Max Minghella, another celebrity couple that seems to have found the key to sticking together.
