TwitterKatie Holmes has officially joined Twitter. The 34-year-old Romantics actress recently signed up for the social networking site and made her first tweet on Friday, Oct. 25. "So happy to be on twitter!!!!!!" Holmes told her first few thousand followers. "Sending first tweets from South Africa!!!!!"
Using the Twitter handle @KatieHolmes212, the movie star also retweeted a picture from Nikki Silver, who's producing her latest project, The Giver. Taylor Swift, Jeff Bridges, Odeya Rush and Cameron Monaghan also appear in the behind-the-scenes shot. (Sadly, costars Alexander Skarsgård and Meryl Streep are nowhere to be found.)
So far, Suri Cruise's mom has only followed a handful of accounts, including Bobbi Brown Cosmetics (she's a brand ambassador), SoulCycle (her fave workout spot), The New York Times and Vogue.
Holmes is the latest A-lister to join Twitter, following in the footsteps of Sarah Michelle Gellar, Anna Faris, Drew Barrymore, Liam Hemsworth and Ryan Phillippe.
