So just how did the rapper manage to plan the engagement without anyone finding out?
E! News has learned that friends originally thought that they were attending a surprise birthday party for Kim, who turned 33 on Monday.
A second source confirms that Mr. West personally chartered a private jet to shuttle guests to and from the Bay Area.
And boy, were they in for quite a shock when they landed…
Friends and family arrived at San Francisco's AT&T Park and hid in the dugouts while Yeezy popped the big question.
"Kim thought it was only her and Kanye in the stadium," an insider tells us. "They all surprised her afterwards."
Understandably, the momentous occasion was an emotional one for the Kardashians and their nearest and dearest.
"Everyone was in tears, it was incredibly romantic," the insider added. "Kim was beaming… she was smiling from ear to ear."
The reality star continued to be on cloud nine during the party, which was held immediately following the proposal.
"Kim and Kanye were so cute together. They were so overjoyed and happy. It was the most perfect thing ever," the insider explained.
Awww…it sure sounds like it!
North West's mama broke her silence exclusively to E! News on Tuesday.
"Last night was truly magical!!! I am the luckiest girl in the world!" she gushed. "I get to marry my best friend!"
Earlier in the day, Kim posted a snapshot on Instagram showcasing her stunning (and flawless) 15-carat diamond ring by celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz with a caption that said "YES!!!"
In the background of the pic, the field's jumbo screen read, "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!"
