Watch: Josh Henderson Going Green and Grey?

Sorry ladies, but you won't be seeing hunky Josh Henderson play Christian Grey on the big screen.

The actor told E! News that although he's expressed interest in taking on the racy role, his schedule with the TV series Dallas won't allow him to be in Fifty Shades of Grey, but Henderson has some thoughts for whoever does play the male lead.

"You know, I'm not even available for the role. I think it's gonna be a blessing and a curse potentially for whoever gets it just because you're gonna make half the fans love you and half the fans are gonna be mad that you're the guy and not someone else," the star told E! News' Ali Fedotowsky and Marc Malkin at the Environmental Media Association Awards on Saturday.

"So at the end of the day, I wish that person a lot of luck. I know they're shooting soon," he added, "I'm doing my series until April so I'm not even available. Would I take on the challenge? I love a good challenge."

Henderson told us that he actually read half of the erotica novel by E.L. James, but didn't finish it once he realized his work schedule would prohibit him from having the opportunity to possibly become Christian Grey.

"I didn't wanna get my hopes up so I stopped. But I know its a huge deal and I wish the actor a lot of luck. It's racy, but fun. As long as it stays true to the book, it's gonna be a great role and someone's gonna have to really, really go at it full throttle."

Now we just have to wait and find out who (out of the many, many names thrown out) will be our Christian Grey.
