Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) are finally tying the night after over eight seasons of will-they-or-won't-they drama, a pregnancy and lots and lots of bones. Not only do we have almost 30 behind-the-scenes photos of the big day, but we also have an exclusive clip from the episode (airing Monday, Oct. 21). But wait, there's more!

We chatted with creator Hart Hanson exclusively about what viewers can expect from the Bones wedding and where the season goes after those two crazy kids finally make it official. So, watch the clip, enjoy the scoop and click through our big Bones wedding gallery! Mazel tov, everybody!

After years and years of will they-won't they, how did it feel to finally marry off these two?
Hart Hanson:
It was surprisingly touching. It caught us off guard, having so many of the cast in one place, united for something we weren't positive we'd ever get to, with Cyndi Lauper singing. It was a real story milestone for us. Plus, they looked wonderful.

What was the hardest thing about writing an episode that's as highly anticipated as this one?
It's always difficult giving the audience what they want and expect in a way they don't expect. You have to satisfy the audience without being complacent.

Is there anything in the episode that might surprise fans?
Parker is taller than they will remember. And we're pretty sure the wedding won't happen the way they expect it to happen at the beginning of the episode. And there will be a significant portion of our audience who won't believe we actually did it until Booth and Brennan are actually husband and wife.

What was the atmosphere like on set during the shoot? Based on the photos, it looks like it was a lot of fun!
It was a bit like a real wedding. There were some nerves, a real sense of community and family, and a desire to do it right.

Now that they'll be a married couple, what are the writers most excited to do with Booth and Bones next?
It's a paradigm shift for us. We're still a romantic crimedy but the romance will change from suitors to actual married people. It opens up a whole bunch of stories that are unique to married people.

Finally, any fun teases you can reveal about the episode?
Absolutely not. Well, maybe watch out for open flames.

Bones' wedding episode, titled "The Woman in White," airs next Monday on Fox!
