Switched at Birth is adding yet another star to season three!

The ABC Family hit drama returns in January 2014 with brand new episodes and it looks like fans should prepare to shimmy and shake this season. Ugly Betty's Alec Mapa has been tapped as a recurring guest star, who just so happens to be a pretty great tap dancer.

The actor will play Renzo, a new friend that Kathryn (Lea Thompson) meets in a tap dancing class. Although neither character is a particularly sensational dancer, the two will become fast friends and their fancy footwork will improve as the season continues. Fans will be introduced to Renzo's sweet moves in the season three premiere.

Mapa is just one of a handful of stellar guest stars who will be hanging out with the Kinnish/Vasquez this season. RJ Mitte will make his first post Breaking Bad appearance as Campbell, a pre-med college student paralyzed by a snowboarding accident who works in the free clinic with Daphne (Katie LeClerc).

Sandra Bernhard is joining the drama as Teresa Lubarsky, a groovy art professor at a local college where Bay (Vanessa Marano) is taking classes. In the same art class fans will be introduced to Glee's Max Adler, who is set to play a fraternity brother who is befriends Bay.

Don't miss the star-studded new season of Switched at Birth when it premiere in January 2014 on ABC Family!
