Mark your calendars and set your DVRs! The Bachelor's Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici have set a wedding date, the couple announced Monday, Oct. 14, on ABC's Good Morning America. For the first time in the show's history, the wedding will take place live on Jan. 26, 2014.

"Hopefully everything goes smoothly," said Lowe, a 29-year-old entrepreneur from Dallas, Texas.

"The Bachelor is such a cool experience because people at home feel like they know us and they're invested in our relationship," he added. "We have no problem sharing the actual wedding with everyone who has been with us so far."

Lowe—a born-again virgin who later competed on Dancing With the Stars—popped the question in Thailand. His proposal was taped for the March 11 Season 17 finale.

Giudici said they want a traditional ceremony and an over-the-top reception. "I just want it to be fun and show our love. Other than that, I know that it's going to be a beautiful wedding," she said. "We want some traditional type of ceremony that just kind of unifies us and then have a big party afterwards."

The 27-year-old graphic designer from Seattle added that former Bachelor competitor Lesley Murphy will be among her 12 bridesmaids. Several others will be added to the guest list.

Currently living separately, Lowe and Giudici are house-hunting in the Dallas area and look forward to moving in together after the wedding.

Only a handful of the franchise's couples have made it to the altar: Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney (The Bachelor, Season 13); Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter (The Bachelorette, Season 1); and Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum (The Bachelorette, Season 7). Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried—whose got engaged in the Aug. 5 finale of The Bachelorette's ninth season—are still very much together.
