Miley Cyrus may have dressed up as Rep. Michele Bachmann in her recent SNL skit, but don't expect the Minnesotta congresswoman to follow suit.

"I've never done twerking in my life, and I don't intend to take it up," Bachmann told TheTeaParty.net during a conference call Monday.

In the aforementioned skit, Cyrus dressed up as the congresswoman while performing a parody of her single "We Can't Stop" about the government shutdown. SNL's Taran Killam also snapped on a gold grill, a white crop top and leggings to play House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) in the music video spoof, which was appropriately titled, "We Did Stop (the Government)."

But lucky for Cyrus, Bachmann insists she took the skit in stride.

"I have a good sense of humor and I never take it personally," she admitted. I've probably been lampooned six or seven times on Saturday Night Live and that's all done in good fun."

And it's safe to say she found the silver lining when it comes to Miley's impersonation.

"The Monday after Saturday Night Live aired, we had a lot of calls to the office, and we had people think that was me," she revealed. "And let me tell you, as a 57-year-old woman, it's been a long time since I've been confused for a 20-year-old."

Bachmann certainly wasn't the only one who tuned in to Cyrus' skit on SNL.

The 20-year-old pop star matched the ratings for the Tina Fey-hosted season-premiere episode in the coveted 18-49 demo.
