Kyle Richards on Sister Kim's Road to Recovery: "She's So Strong and in Such a Great Place"

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards has had her fair share of drama onscreen, but the most intense situation she's ever been a part of was her sister Kim Richards' road to sobriety. Recently, Kyle opened up to us about Kim's journey.

"My sister is doing incredible," Kyle gushed exclusively to E! News. "She's so strong and in such a great place. My nieces and nephews are amazing, and everyone is doing really, really well."

Kyle revealed that what helped get Kim and the family through the troubled times the most was a solid support system.

"You have to have your friends and family supporting you," said Kyle. "I know it's so difficult. Believe me, I wasn't equipped to deal with it years ago because I didn't understand that it really was a disease. I'm such a control freak that I was like, 'Just get it together!' You know, I didn't understand."

She continues: "You really have to have the support of your family and friends and people around you that really get that it is a disease and that will have the patience and be supportive. "
