And thankfully the star has just returned to the ultra-chic look. Sharing a photo of the process on her Instagram account, it appears the star first darkened her hue to coal black before getting the cut.

The results? A glossy raven crop that perfectly frames her oval face.

The posh 'do is reminiscent of Katie Holmes' 2008 bob and, more recently, Nicole Richie's shorter style earlier this year.
