You can add Mary Murphy to the list of peeps who think Miley Cyrus can do better.
The So You Think You Can Dance judge says she hasn't been a fan of Cyrus' recent artistic endeavors.
"Of course, kids are always trying to break the mold, but I didn't really care for it, to be honest with you,' Murphy said about Cyrus' MTV VMAs performance while she walked the Emmys red carpet.
Murphy agrees with Pink that the former Hannah Montana darling is shortchanging herself.
"I think she could have done the same thing with something a little bit more on and something more classy," Murphy said. "She's gorgeous. I felt like, 'Oh, you're trying to make yourself look so bad in a desperate attempt to get acknowledgment. She certainly found it."
As for twerking, the ballroom dance champion laughed, "Shaking your bum has always been around. We just have a new name for it."
Avril Lavigne told E! News at Saturday's iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas that she's a Cyrus supporter. "She is doing her thing right now and she is kicking ass, so good for her," she said.
Britney Spears confirmed that she and Cyrus have spent some time in the recording studio together. Brit told E! News at iHeart, "She's a cool girl."
