On top of coordinating the chicest accessories with their Emmys gowns, glamour gals also had to find the perfect makeup look to compliment both their dress and their features.
And that's just what nominee Julie Bowen did, tapping makeup artist Heather Currie to create a look inspired by the soft blush pink Zac Posen gown the Modern Family star wore to the awards show.
Since Currie used Neutrogena products to create Bowen's beauty look—the blond beauty was just announced as the face of the brand, after all—those wanting to recreate her look can do so with wallet-friendly products.
And thankfully for us, Currie's broken down the steps to getting Bowen's soft and seductive smoky eye and flawlessly natural-looking makeup!
We loved the smudged lids Currie created, and were just dying to know how she achieved the look. Turns out, she used not one but two eyeliners.
Since a traditional black liner would've made for a super-stark contrast against the delicate shade of Bowen's gown, Currie instead used Neutrogena Nourishing Eye Liner in Brushed Pewter to add a gray tone on top lids, and the brand's Nourishing Eye Liner in Brushed Pewter to add a chocolatey hue along bottom lashes.
We'd say the two-tone framing definitely worked, since Bowen's peepers popped thanks to the subtle shading!
And for that extra kick, Currie dabbed Neutrogena Crease Proof Eye Shadow in Constant Copper along the actress's browbone, as well as on her cheekbones, which she finished off with the MoistureSmooth Color Stick in Fresh Papaya as a cream blush on the cheek to add a little glow.
Berry colored lips added a pop of color courtesy of the Moisture Smooth Color Stick in—you guessed it—Berry Bright finished off the feminine look.
