If there's anybody who's going to enjoy Miley Cyrus' Oct. 5 appearance on Saturday Night Live to the max, it's these two.

When E! News caught up with Aidy Bryant and Vanessa Bayer at the New York launch party for NBC's fall lineup on Monday and asked them about what hosts or performers they'd like to see on the show, the Not Ready for Primetime Players were all about the "Wrecking Ball" singer.

"I always like it when people, like when Miley's coming—she's host and musical guest. I always think that's exciting," answered Bryant. "Maybe more people to do that."

When quizzed about whether she'll demonstrate her own twerking abilities with her parody of Cyrus—most likely in a new installment of her recurring sketch The Miley Cyrus Show—Bayer admitted her booty-shaking still needs some work.

"I'm probably not very good at twerking. You mean, like listen to how I say twerkin'…I mean, I'll do my best," she told E! News.

Meanwhile in an interview with On Air With Ryan Seacrest, SNL alum Andy Samberg also weighed in on the erstwhile Disney star's upcoming stint.

"I think she's going to do great," the funnyman told the radio personality and Million Second Quiz host. "People have been asking me this and I'm actually happy to step in and say, 'I think she's going to be great.' She was on a few times when I was there…and I did a short with her and she was delightful."

Samberg's new comedy, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, premieres tonight on Fox.
