Happy Tuesday! Need some Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki to get you through the morning/afternoon? Of course you do! Luckily, you've come to the right place.

In this exclusive first look at bonus footage from Supernatural: The Complete Eighth Season (out now on DVD and Blu-ray), the masterminds behind the CW hit series talk about the tablet storyline and the effect it had on Sam and Dean and the entire season.

Watch the exclusive clip below to hear why the writers decided to embark on the heaven and hell adventure.

The new season of Supernatural will find fan favorite Castiel (Misha Collins) now a mere mortal after the fall of the angels in the finale episode of season eight.

"It's going to be interesting," Jensen Ackles told us of Dean's reaction to human Castiel. "Castiel has been such a valuable tool to Dean over the past few years and I don't know if he's going to have him come clean his room; I don't know what's going to happen."

At this year's Comic-Con, showrunner Jeremy Carver revealed what's next for the fallen angels: "We're going to learn pretty quickly that a world full of fallen angels is pretty much a free-for-all. We're going to see it's not one unified body. We've got lots of angels out there with lots of different agendas. Many are feelings lost and vengeful. A world of fallen angels is a dirty, bloody, scary and, in some ways, a very human world."

Supernatural returns Oct. 8 at 9 p.m. on the CW.
