Miley Cyrus doesn't just get credit for taking twerking mainstream—she also started a tongue trend!

Hilary Duff's dog, Cabo, pulled his "his best Miley," sticking his tongue out much like the "We Can't Stop" singer did at the 2013 MTV VMAs. Cabo's pal Dubois looked a little taken aback—not unlike Robin Thicke when Miley's twerkfest was going down onstage!

But it wasn't just the dogs copying the Queen of Twerk's moves. On Sunday, Sept. 9, Rihanna stuck her tongue out while sitting front row at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week's Opening Ceremony in New York City.

And let's not forget how Selena Gomez mocked (or endearingly imitated) Miley's signature move on the red carpet at Getaway's L.A. premiere last month. Jon Stewart copied M.C., too, on his return to The Daily Show—even attempting to twerk and dance with a manicured foam finger!

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
