Prince William and Prince Harry will attend the BGC Partners Charity Day on Wednesday, Sept. 11 in Canary Wharf, London, according to Kensington Palace. The event is held each year to commemorate the NYC-based company's 658 employees who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center.
The new dad, who is the Patron of Skillforce, and his little brother, who serves as Patron of WellChild, will meet with representatives from their respective charities at the company's London location where a "British Summer" theme party has also been organized.
Their Royal Highnesses will then move to the brokerage company's trading floor to assist BGC employees with telephone calls and business deals. Revenues from the days trades will go to a number of charities, including SkillForce and WellChild.
Kensington Palace also announced Prince Harry will attend the WellChild Awards Ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel in London the same day.
The red-headed royal is expected to join a number of WellChild supporters in recognizing the courage and strength of sick children as well as the hard work of their doctors, nurses and caregivers at the annual event for the charity, which supports terminally and critically ill children in the U.K.
Prince Harry will meet the inspirational winners of each award category and members of their families during a reception before the ceremony.
The 28-year-old new uncle is expected to present the Award for Most Inspirational Child (aged 3-6) and will deliver a short speech at the end of the award show.
Harry was also on hand to give a speech at last year's event (the occasion marked his first public appearance since his infamous Las Vegas trip in 2012), as he has served as Patron of the charity since 2007 and has attended the ceremony on five previous occasions.
