After four seasons of bad stuff going down at every single dance they've ever thrown, The Vampire Diaries is finally getting ready to throw the biggest event of all: Senior prom! The CW hit's April 18 episode "Pictures of You" finds the gang celebrating the biggest night in a high school senior's life and we've got your first look at Elena (Nina Dobrev), Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Caroline (Candice Accola) and the rest of the gang in their sharpest duds.
Of course, this is Mystic Falls, so plenty of craziness is sure to go down and we've got scoop on what you can expect from the episode!
Judging from the photos, it seems Damon and Elena will be sharing an intense moment at the dance, but do they go as a couple? Well, Damon and Stefan (Paul Wesley) decide to go in an attempt to get through to Elena, but the night soon spirals out of control when she lashes out in a way no one could've predicted.
Fans will be happy to know Elijah (Daniel Gillies) will be appearing in the episode, which finds him infuriating his brother Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and proposing a life-changing challenge for Rebekah (Claire Holt). Also on deck for the Originals? Caroline turns to Klaus for help when her perfectly planned prom night is disrupted by Elena (no wonder Damon is offering her booze in one of the photos!), and Matt (Zach Roerig) asks Rebekah for help as well. Will she finally get a second chance with him? Here's hoping!
And how cute do Matt and Bonnie (Kat Graham) in their formalwear?!
