If Channing Tatum were really a Secret Service agent, everyone would already be hard at work on their 2016 presidential campaign.
Well, the reigning Sexiest Man Alive isn't actually protecting the nation's leader at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., but he does so pretty convincingly in the newly released White House Down trailer.
In the action thriller, due to be released June 28, Channing plays John Cale, the main man in charge of security for President James Sawyer (aka Jamie Foxx). When a paramilitary group launched a full-scale explosive attack on the White House, Channing's character fiercely tries to get the situation under control and keep the president out of harm's way.
In the process, he fights with flames, fires off all kinds of weapons and gets all bloodied up. And as always, Mr. Tatum brings his buff, beautiful self and quiet Southern charm to the big screen.
