For one intensely loyal Morrissey fan, "Tomorrow" won't come.

Which is why while recuperating from a bout of double pneumonia that forced him to cancel a concert in Mexico City and reshuffle his tour dates, The Smiths' former frontman took time out to pen a poignant tribute to one of his most devoted admirers who died recently.

While he did not know Margaret Dale, whose death his letter hinted may have been a suicide, the 53-year-old Morrissey remembered her Wednesday on fan site, True to You, for her constant presence on the road and the time he autographed her arm, which he noted "was now a tattoo."

The singer-songwriter also mourned her with these heartfelt and thought-provoking sentiments.

"I can only hope, for Margaret, that death yields the profit of rest, and somehow provides her with a listener," Morrissey wrote. "We all weary of living in the same skin day after day, in a world where only the blandly trivial are allowed to be heard, but there is nothing wrong with taking your destiny into your own hands, just as there is nothing wrong in understanding what is meant for you and what isn't."

After calling Dale a "woman of action, who know knows the soul of the world," the crooner then took a shot at the "blandly trivial" world he earlier decried.

"Meanwhile, on today's AOL News Page, headlines tell us that Victoria Beckham has reportedly dropped her 'fake' look, and William and Kate are in search of yet another home — the constitutional frigidity of a media world now openly obsessed with zombies and morons," he added.

He concluded his missive with, "Rest well, Margaret."

Morrissey is scheduled to resume his trek on March 18 in Lawrence, Kan.
