It's so cool, even Zooey Deschanel's doing it. The New Girl star showed off her adorable rescue dogs, Zelda and Dot, on Instagram Thursday.
"I have to thank the #billfoundation for the greatest, sweetest, most wonderful dogs in the world. Apples of my eye!" the actress gushed. In case you're wondering, the Bill Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from the L.A. shelter system and placing them in permanent loving homes—like Zooey's.
"I really love seeing pictures of everybody's rescue dogs!" she tweeted, urging fans who rescued their pups from shelters to share their pets' pics.
An adorkable, awesome adoption advocate! That's our kinda girl.
