One thing's for sure: Rihanna's no Lady Gaga or Madonna.
The 25-year-old hitmaker has released a new YouTube video of her rehearsing for her highly anticipated Diamonds World Tour in support of her new album, Unapologetic.
And by the look of her mostly stationary action, Rihanna apparently isn't going all out with the dance moves, keeping it to the occasional swiveling of her hips and bouncing up and down.
In the clip, her choreographer describes the routine as giving fans the feeling of "stripper slash hood" (though we might agree with one commenter who wrote that RiRi looks pretty bored with it all).
To be fair, the uninspired footage was shot around midnight, so she and her dance crew had probably had a long day.
In any case, Rihanna is now taking a brief break, tweeting yesterday that she's currently across the pond in London to launch her Rihanna for River Island fashion collection.
She's scheduled to return to the States this week, though, as her Diamonds tour is slated to kick off Friday in Buffalo, N.Y.
