Pregnant Kate Middleton and Prince William to Attend Annual St. Patrick's Day Military Parade

Royal couple will be on hand for yearly event at Mons Barracks in Aldershot

Talk about lucky.

The 1st Battalion Irish Guards will be visited by Prince William and Kate Middleton at the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 17 at Mons Barracks in Aldershot, St. James's Palace announced on Monday.

According to a press release, the Duke of Cambridge will attend the parade as Colonel of the Regiment while Her Royal Highness will present the traditional sprigs of shamrocks to the Officers and Guardsmen of the Regiment.

The royal couple will watch 200 soldiers as they march on to the parade square at the base, wearing their full ceremonial uniforms of scarlet tunics and bearskins.

In the meantime, mother-to-be Middleton will be in the Lincolnshire town of Grimsby on March 5.

While there, the duchess will check out the National Fishing Heritage Centre, tour the Humberside Fire and Rescue Service at Peaks Lane Fire Station and visit Havelock Academy.
