Even Gwyneth Paltrow would do a few things differently in hindsight.

In the latest issue of Goop, the Academy Award-winning actress shares some of her favorite red-carpet looks—as well as the one that got away.

"There were a few issues," she admits, referring to the black sheer-top Alexander McQueen gown she wore to the 2002 Oscars.

"I still love the dress itself but I should have worn a bra and I should have just had simple beachy hair and less makeup. Then, it would have worked as I wanted it to—a little bit of punk at the Oscars."

Paltrow did indeed get a hefty helping of grief for her too-goth-for-the-Academy look, from the kohl-rimmed eyes to the heavy taffeta skirt to, yes, the boobs that were just...right there!

Happily for the now-veteran movie star, she has oodles of success stories to choose from, so there's no need to weep for the rare misstep.
