No fairy tale ending for Liberty Ross and Rupert Sanders.

Ross filed for divorce from the Snow White and the Huntsman director in L.A. Superior Court Friday, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split after more than 10 years of marriage.

Sanders filed his response at the same time, and they are both seeking joint custody of their children, daughter Skyla, 8, and son Tennyson, 6.

Per Ross' divorce filing, obtained by E! News, the actress is seeking spousal support and attorney fees from her ex, and has asked to keep jewelry and as well as earnings generated after the couple's separation. No prenup was mentioned in the documents.

The British couple, who made their home in Malibu, were noticeably on the outs following the publication last July of photographs of Sanders getting cozy with his Snow White star, Kristen Stewart.

Sanders immediately issued an apology, stating, "I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together."

The next time Ross was seen in public, she had ditched her wedding ring, while Sanders continued to be photographed wearing his as the summer went on.

They were last spotted together out with their kids on Halloween.

During Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in October, where Ross walked the runway for Alexander Wang, she seemed to address the summertime scandal in a video posted online.

"I do think that this year is kind of the end of some things and the beginnings of something else," she said. "And I think that beginnings are always really exciting, and change is very important in life."
