Showing major brand loyalty, Michelle Obama stunned in yet another breathtaking Jason Wu dress Monday night at the 2013 Inaugural Ball.

And while some critics were disappointed that the first lady didn't give another designer a try, no one could deny that the chosen red halter gown was a magnificent choice for the occasion.

The powerful statement dress was elegant and sophisticated, and showed off Wu's brilliant creative talent.

To note, there was no shortage of designers vying for the coveted honor to dress FLOTUS, including L'Wren Scott, Chanel and Nanette Lepore, but in the end, Wu won with this gorgeous sketch submission.

Though his original rendering shows a sleek column skirt which appears to have been modified into a sweeping chiffon silhouette for the first lady, every other element, especially the ravishing shade of red, is perfectly on point.

Our favorite feature? That dazzling halter neckline which feels modern and chic, and showcases her toned arms like there's no tomorrow!
