"Hey everybody, Michael J. Fox got in touch with me today and we are good. Thank you for having my back," Swift tweeted Friday.
While Fox's rep didn't immediately respond to a request for comment yesterday, it would appear that the actor reached out to Swift to clear the air and tell her he didn't mean anything by it when he said that, if his son dated her, inevitably she'd release a song called "Sam, You Piece of S--t."
Sounds like it went well.
The whole kerfuffle started when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler sassily joked during the Golden Globes about Swift pursuing Fox's 23-year-old son.
Cut to Fox smiling, but then he told Vulture.com that, one, he wouldn't really know who she was if Sam brought her home; and, two, "Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right?"
Oh, to be in on what transpired between Swift and Papa Fox! We can't wait to search her next album for clues!
