Jimmy Kimmel Live's move to a new time slot resulted in a surprising scheduling conflict last night.

Little did the late-night host realize that Will Ferrell and Ryan Gosling "host" a QVC "show" in the same studio called Knife Guys—and they made their presence known in a hilarious skit that interrupted Kimmel's monologue.

When the comedian was midway through a man-on-the-street bit, he found himself suddenly interrupted by the Anchorman star.

"Hello folks, it's Wednesday night and welcome to the Knife Guys!" announced Ferrell.

When Jimmy asked him what he was doing there, noting that ABC moved Live up to 11:35 p.m. as of this week, Ferrell made it clear who the real interloper was. Jimmy apologized, but that didn't stop Ferrell from forging ahead with his sales pitch. After a demonstration on some warm butter, he brought out Gosling looking like a cigarette girl holding a box filled with all sorts of goodies for Ferrell to slice.

"Cookie dough! Cotton candy! Chocolate milk! You always got to slice chocolate milk!" yelled Ferrell, who pretended to nick his hand from all the knife play.

Maybe these knife guys should come with a warning label, huh?!
