Like father, like son, indeed. And dare we say, adorably.

One look at Philip Seymour Hoffman and his 9-year-old identi-kid Cooper cheering courtside earlier this week and it's clear the apple didn't fall very far from the Oscar-winning tree.

Sporting replicate poses—seriously, power fist poised mid-air, open-mouth yells, they're even dressed alike in matching striped sweaters, for crying out loud—this father-son pair made for quite the spectating team.

Unfortunately, cute as their makeshift cheer squad was, the Hoffman boys were unsuccessful in rooting their chosen team, the Knicks, on to victory, as they lost out this particular game to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Still, the impending loss clearly didn't dampen their spirits. Looks like this Master taught his little grasshopper well.

As for you, John Leguizamo: Nice attempt, but put in a little more effort next time.
