Move over, Spike Lee. Django Unchained is going global.

Kerry Washington and Jamie Foxx hit Rome for the first leg of the slavery flick's promo tour, attending a photo call at the Hassler Hotel today.

The dazzling duo was all smiles during the event, with Foxx clowning around and checking out his stunning costar as they made their way down the carpet.

Washington was clad in a colorful, fitted Peter Pilotto dress, while the Oscar-winning thesp chose a more subtle blue cardigan and jeans for the occasion.

While Leonardo DiCaprio, who plays a brutal plantation owner in the film, was missing in action, costars Samuel L. Jackson, Christoph Waltz, Franco Nero and director Quentin Tarantino (who also makes a brief cameo in Django Unchained) were all in tow.

Although the film has had its fair share of criticism for its violent content, among other things, Django Unchained is on track to be Tarantino's highest-grossing movie ever, already raking in over $80 million since its Christmas Day release, according to TheWrap.com.
