The CSI: NY star is engaged to girlfriend of two years, Abigail Ochse, E! News confirms. Buckley proposed to Ochse (who goes by Abby), an oncology nurse, on New Years Eve in front of friends and family while on vacation in Turtle Bay, Napali.
According to a statement obtained by E! News, Turtle Bay is a special place for Buckley and his family, as it is the resting place for the ashes of his late father Joe Buckley, who he lost to pancreatic cancer last year. Buckley's mother and Ochse's sister were present while he got on bended knee and popped the question with a vintage style ring he hid in a box of fireworks. The ring was made by Dan Wexler in Houston.
Buckley has portrayed laboratory technician Adam Ross on CSI: NY since 2005.
