Look out, London, Tom Cruise is here.

The actor has kept a relatively low profile while filming in the city for his film All You Need Is Kill, but he made his presence known on Saturday when production shut down Trafalgar Square for shooting. Filmmakers reportedly brought in tanks, suggesting it was an action scene, so not only did tourists get a glimpse of Cruise, but some pretty dramatic scenes, also.

Though people crowded around the Square to watch filming, police made sure to keep passersby off set.

The film also stars Emily Blunt and Bill Paxton, and follows the story of a soldier who must fight a war against aliens.

Yes, this is a role Cruise should be comfortable portraying. The flick is set to hit theaters March 7, 2014.
