Even though we never really approved of Minka and ex boy-toy Derek Jeter, we stayed fairly mum on the topic of this twosome (only 'cause they seemed determined to make it work.)

But just a few months after enjoying the single life, we hear the brunette beauty is possibly rebounding with Wilmer Valderrama?!

Looks like this babe's added another playboy to her little black book…

'Cause back in August when Minka and Derek split for what felt like the 100th time, sources told E! News it was really Derek's doing and the split took the stunning actress by surprise.

And if ya ask us, dating Wilmer could put Minks on the fast track to heartbreak. Not only is the dude famous for opening his big mouth—he notoriously told Howard Stern he took Mandy Moore's virginity—but he's also known for dating a slew of hard-partying gals (Lindsay Lohan, anyone?).

Considering Minka and Derek had a top-secret relaysh and Ms. Kelly's never been a large admirer of the H'wood party scene, we're thinking the babe's done a total 180 if she is truly together with Wil.

Since they were first spotted together, the foxy twosome have not only been the topic of mucho tabloid speculation, but they've hit hot spots all over the world—from Marquee in Sydney to Greystone Manor in Hollywood, Minka's suddenly sporting a new public M.O.

But perhaps, we're being too hard on this new couple. After all, Wilmer broke up with Demi Lovato in November and the two appeared to have a drama-free relaysh. Not to mention he dated the songstress pre- and postrehab.

And after his breakup with the Disney star, the '70s Show playboy has lied pretty low—opting for bros' nights out with Joe Jonas versus canoodling with adoring chickies.

Dare we say the 32-year-old dude might be looking to settle down?

If the answer's yes, then we say Minka's a pre-tay fine catch.

And if not? Tread carefully Minka, you deserve a nice guy after that Derek disaster.
