Jeremy Renner says he's not gay.

And even if he was, he also warns that it's none of your friggin' business!

"I want my personal life to be personal, and it's not f--king true," the Avengers star says in the new Hollywood Reporter about the same-sex-loving rumors that have been whispered about him for years.

"And I don't care if you're talking about things that are true, you're still talking about my personal life," Renner continues. "How about I go peek in your window, take what underwear you wore last night, whose husband you were f--king, and shove that in the megaphone throughout your neighborhood? How does that feel? It's none of your goddamn business."

And you definitely don't want to piss him off. Renner recalls a time when he and his family were at a bar on Christmas Eve and a guy called him a "f-g" for wearing a scarf. "Then he shoved my sister and I got behind him and I choked him out—put him to sleep," Renner says.

Sounds like something out of, let's say, a Mission: Impossible or Jason Bourne movie.

Renner denies that he's being groomed to take over the MI franchise from Tom Cruise.

He was paid $5 million for Universal's upcoming fourth Bourne movie, The Bourne Legacy, and if he continues with the franchise there's a good chance he can make $20 million for a third flick, the same paycheck Matt Damon took home for his last stint in the action series. (E! Online and Universal are part of the NBCUniversal family.)

The Reporter also reveals that Renner took home only six figures for the first Avengers but should get a big bump for future installments.

Now, back to his personal life. Renner's eight-month-old French bulldog, Franklin, died last month of a heart attack. "He was my solution for being so lonely," he says.

He's been in two long-term relationships.

The last ended when the girlfriend decided to get into acting. "That was part of the issue," Renner says. "I was going through the Hurt Locker campaign and she's like, 'Where do I get headshots?'"

Ouch.

Oh, it also didn't help that living with them was Kristoff Winters, who Reporter writer Stephen Galloway describes as Renner's "live-in business partner, who restores houses with him." Renner says he's like a "brother."

Renner, who is "socially liberal and fiscally conservative," admits he did drugs when he was younger and still likes to get "wasted" sometimes.

He says of the now infamous story of Christina Aguilera being found sleeping in his bed after crashing his birthday party, "She was just chilling in one of the bedrooms. I was happy to meet her. I was a big fan. Mind you, I was probably pretty s--t-bagged at the time."
