No surprise, the crafty Miles stirred up tons of drama when she tweeted a pic of her perfectly manicured hand complete with a sparkly ring on a very specific left finger. And even though the former Hannah Montana star quickly denied the engagement reports, we're still scratching our heads why she was rocking the ring in the first place…
Kind of sounds like Bobbi Kristina and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, right? Both sported pseudo-engagement sparklers but then immediately shot down wedding speculation when tabloids started talking.
So we gotta ask: What's with all the single ladies rocking ready-to-wed rings?
Yeah, we think it's pretty odd as well.
Considering all three ladies are all young and (supposedly) in love, there's no question donning a ring on that finger is going to fuel tons of tabloid speculation.
And even though Miley, Bobbi and Rosie have all given very reasonable explanations as to why they're sporting such pretty little sparklers, we find the whole gig a bit too attention-grabbing to ignore.
'Cause there is no denying engagement rumors are a very solid way to stay in the spotlight.
Heck, there's even been speculation Miley donned the ring to help her Hunger Games beau—considering Liam's at his prime publicity peak, it's a pretty smart idea from the Disney princess, no?
And while Bobbi Kristina is sporting mother Whitney Houston's ring as a tribute to the late diva, all her extra time with "big brudder" Nick Gordon only set the Houston family rumor mill a fire, yet again. We'll give this one a free pass, but B.K., perhaps you should think about switching over to the other hand, no?
As for Rosie Huntington-Whiteley? Well, this babe has no excuse in our book. She's the oldest of the bunch, has been dating BF Jason Statham since 2010 and has even been spotted apartment shopping with her beau in NYC.
Sorry, Rose, but if you're that serious about taking your relaysh to the next level, then either fess up to an engagement or move your ring to your right hand like the rest of us mere mortals.
Then again, you could always pull a Jessica Biel if you really want to drive us crazy.
