Marla Sokoloff's daughter Elliotte Anne got her mom's good looks!
The Full House alum and hubby Alec Puro welcomed their first child on February 8. Now the former child star, 31, is opening up about the good and the bad she's experiencing as a first-time mom.
"Words cannot express my complete and utter love for her," Sokoloff writes in her People baby blog. "I know every parent says this, but she's absolutely perfect!"
The actress describes giving birth as "a fun adventure," but has now adjusted to "the fact that sleep is no longer a part of our daily regimen."
"The only part of mothering that has been truly difficult for me (so far) is breastfeeding," she writes. "My milk production came in quite low and after weeks of trying to find our groove, most feedings end with both of us in tears. I've been taking milk-producing herbs, drinking special tea and saying lots of prayers to will this to happen, but each day I simply do the best I can."
Her solution? Working with "an amazing lactation consultant [to design] a plan that combines breastfeeding with breast pumping as well as supplementing."
"This way I know exactly how much food she is getting," she explains. "At the end of the day, she needs to eat and that's what's most important."
