So much for that reunion we were anticipating.

After James Denton appeared on the stand for a grand total of 10 minutes, Nicollette Sheridan's attorney Mark Baute asked Marc Cherry's counsel if they planned on bringing any other Desperate Housewives stars to testify and to clarify the rumor that Eva Longoria could take the stand tomorrow.

Judge Elizabeth Allen White didn't seem to like that idea and interrupted by saying, "I don't think it's appropriate."

But why?

Yesterday, Baute claimed that Denton's testimony would be "cumbersome" since he and none of the other actresses on witness list actually witnessed the incident go down, which is pretty important.

So that's why.

Executive producer George Perkins will continue his testimony tomorrow at 9:30 a.m.—and maybe spill some more spoilers?—followed by former ABC president Steve McPherson and HR rep Lynne Volk.
