Let's battle, people!

The Voice entered its second round of auditions tonight: the ever-so-intense battle round, where two members of the same team must duke it out vocally onstage, with only one singer advancing to the live shows. So yeah, the pressure is on.

To help the contestants out, the four judges brought in some very special mentors, including Kelly Clarkson, Alanis Morissette and Miranda Lambert!

Team Adam

Tony Lucca and Chris Cauley are paired together as Levine is hoping to have a strong team member come out of the duo. "As much as I like Chris as a person, if he's gotta go, he's gotta go," Lucca says. Their song? U2's "Beautiful Day." Levine brings in Morissette and Robin Thicke to work with Lucca and Cauley. "I'm so happy that she's part of my team," Levine gushes of Morissette.

After their performance, Blake Shelton backs Cauley, Christina Aguilera says she's pulling for her former Mickey Mouse Club co-mouse Lucca, but was impressed by Cauley and CeeLo Green chooses Lucca. So who does Levine decide to keep around? Lucca!

The Voice, Blake Shelton

Team Blake

Blake pits Adley Stump versus RaeLynn against each other, and they must sing Tom Petty's "Free Falling." Shelton says both are "firecracker country girls" and had them face off because they are so different. Shelton brings Clarkson in to mentor Stump and his wife, Lambert, to mentor RaeLynn, who is super excited to sing with her idol. "She's one of my inspirations!" she gushes. "It was such a dream come true."

In the "battle of country music," Aguilera thinks they each brought their own style, but favors Stump's rendition. Green agrees and chooses Stump, but Adam disagrees, saying RaeLynn had a more unique performance. In the end, Shelton chooses RaeLynn to go on to the live shows.

In the second battle, Shelton pairs Jordis Unga and Brian Fuente to duet on Morissette's "Ironic." Aguilera backs Unga, Green chooses Fuente because he was "aggressive" and Levine favors Unga. Shelton's call? Despite her emotions almost getting the best of her, he selects Unga to be his team's rock singer.

Team Christina

The "Beautiful" singer pairs the classically trained Chris Mann and Monique Benabou, who can't read music, thinking they will blend perfectly together on Céline Dion's "The Power of Love." Aguilera's surprise mentors for Mann and Benabou are Lionel Richie and Jewel.

Both singers sound great, but each mentor must choose a favorite. Green chooses Mann, Levine favors both singers at different parts of the performance, ultimately giving the edge to Mann and Shelton picks Benabou. Aguilera sides with Green and Levine and keeps Mann on her team.

In her next battle, Aguilera pairs Anthony Evans with Jesse Campbell on "If I Ain't Got You" by Alicia Keys and both men are pretty nervous. Campbell tries to intimidate Evans with his vocals and Aguilera admits Evan is the underdog. Both men knock it out of the park, giving Aguilera very hard decision to make.

Green is "blown away" by both performers, Levine says their amount of talent is "insane" but favors Campbell, and Shelton chooses Campbell as well. "I am so upset right now that I have to make this decision," Aguilera says, before choosing Campbell to move on.

Team Cee Lo

Green wants to see Cheesa and Angie Johnson "fight" with their heavyweight vocals over Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart." Green brings in Babyface to work with Cheesa and singer Ne-Yo to mentor Johnson.

Levine says both were shaky in the beginning, but slightly favors Cheesa, Shelton chooses Johnson for her "clarity and diction" and Aguilera agrees with him. Ultimately, Green sends Cheesa through to the live shows.

What did you think of tonight's episode? Do you think the mentors made the right choices? Sound off in the comments!
