You might say this move by Target was, well, right on target.

The popular retail giant has decided that a greeting card joking about Whitney Houston's troubled marriage to Bobby Brown might not be the best thing to have on its store shelves in light of the music icon's recent passing.

"Next time you think of dating the bad boy," it reads, "consider Whitney Houston."

According to Target, the questionable card  was available long before the singer's body was sadly discovered Feb. 11 in the bathtub of a Beverly Hills hotel room.

"It is never our intent to offend guests with the products we offer, and we take feedback from guests very seriously," said a rep for Target in a statement.

Houston and Brown were married for nearly fifteen years before divorcing in 2007.
