Ah, The Howard Stern Show: Where people go to spill their guts.

Leave it to the pioneering prober to get his guests talking, be it about their sex lives or why they unceremoniously got rid of Holly Robinson Peete and Leah Remini.

Of course, that particular question was tailor-made for yesterday's guests, The Talk cohosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert and Sharon Osbourne, who all shared the hot seat in Stern's New York City studio.

And he got as close to a real answer and Peete and Remini's firing as we're probably ever going to get.

When Stern asked why no one called Remini and Peete (who previously admitted to E! News how "frustrating" it was not to know the reason she was fired) to discuss the decision with them, Osbourne replied, "Why should we call them to discuss?"

"Some people dont really know who they are," the reality-TV veteran continued, "and you have to know who you are when you're in something like this," meaning a come-as-you-are network talk show.

So "weird chemistry" brought down The Talk's original quintet (or sextet, if you include Marissa Jarett Winokur, who stepped down even earlier), Stern concluded.

"Yes!" Osbourne agreed.

Well, at least someone admitted it. After which, it was on to talk about Chen's hubby and longtime Stern nemesis Leslie Moonves and—you'll never guess—Gilbert's sex life.
