THEY DOTH!: Eight years in the making—or almost 29 years if you've been waiting since the day Prince William was born—but the world finally scored itself round-the-clock coverage of something that didn't suck, i.e. the matrimonial union of Prince Charles and Princess Diana's firstborn son and Catherine Elizabeth Middleton of the adorable-sounding Berkshire village of Bucklebury. THEY WILL!: Kate Hudson revealed on Today that she and Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy are indeed planning to tie the knot, and she has the ring to prove it!

NO THANK YOU: Paris Hilton was attempting to walk into court to testify against the guy accused of trying to burglarize her home when some guy in the crowd, in trying to propose to the heiress, smacked her boyfriend, Cy Waits. The would-be fiancé later copped to battery and is currently in jail. Maybe he was confused by Paris' familiar-looking jacket and he thought it was 2007.
